Provided as-is. Some sections pre-declare features that aren't live yet (clearly marked, e.g. paid plans); those terms take effect only if and when the feature ships. We will update these Terms here, with the date above.

1. Acceptance

By using Farsi-jān (“the App”) you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.

2. Eligibility & age

The current version stores all data on your device and collects no personal information, so it suits general audiences. Data-collecting features — an optional progress-sync account, microphone/speaking assessment, and paid plans — are not active yet. When they launch, an age check will apply and those features will be restricted for users under 13 (or require verifiable parental consent), consistent with COPPA and GDPR-Kids.

3. License & intellectual property

You get a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own learning. The App, curriculum, and design belong to Farsi-jān or its licensors; don’t copy, resell, scrape, or make derivative works except as law allows. Your own notes and captured phrases remain yours and stay on your device.

4. Paid plans (when launched)

Pricing, billing period, and inclusions shown before purchase; a third-party processor handles payment (we don’t store full card data).
Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled, with the disclosures and renewal notices required by law.
Cancellation is as easy as sign-up (“click-to-cancel”); access continues to the end of the paid period.
EU/UK consumers’ 14-day right of withdrawal applies to digital purchases unless waived for immediate access. Refund policy: TBD.

5. Acceptable use

No breaking, overloading, reverse-engineering, or unauthorized access; no unlawful use; don’t use any optional proxy/API feature to relay others’ data without their consent.

6. Educational tool — no professional advice

The App is an educational language tool. Translations, pronunciations, and cultural/tarof notes are provided “as is” and may contain errors. Content about medical, legal, banking, travel, or official matters is for language practice only and is not professional advice — verify anything you rely on.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your consumer-protection rights.
